It was wonderful to celebrate the success of three St John Cadets recently for their great achievement of gaining a Duke Of Edinburgh's International Award - Aotearoa NZ Hillary Award.
All three have committed years of Service and grown their leadership skills through the St John Youth Cadet Programme and so it was only fitting to have St John Youth Westport Division Manager Bridget Kitchin present Rebekah Collins her Silver Award, and also Bridie Kitchin and Bria Murray their Bronze Awards.
We congratulate the trio on their outstanding achievement and hope that their example will inspire many others to take up the challenge and complete their own Award.
