Every now and then you get the pleasure of crossing paths with someone really special. For us at Search The Way ever since we first met Raquel Casey, we have found her to be a multi-talented woman with a lovely, giving heart. Among her many talents was her amazing natural gift as a florist, and we were especially blessed to have her make up Silvia's beautiful bouquet at our wedding. She also has great leadership and empowerment skills as shown by her choosing to do youth mentoring for her Award. Raquel is also a natural sportswoman who loves being active and helping others maintain fitness and well-being. Boxing was her chosen physical recreation activity for her Award. Alongside that, she loves getting out there to explore the great outdoors.
So it was real pleasure for us to present Raquel recently with her Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's International Award. She put many years into achieving this Award, alongside the many other accomplishments she has completed in recent years. We know she has been and continues to be a great encourager to many others, and wish her every success in her next career step. We only see great things ahead because we know Raquel is a real champion no matter what she puts her heart in to! Kia kaha, Kia maia, Kia manawanui - Be strong, Be brave, Be stedfast!
